The 2026 Guldbagge Awards took place in Stockholm, Sweden, and as always, the gala delivered both applause and raised eyebrows. While the evening was meant to celebrate excellence in Swedish cinema — including the presentation of the Best Mask Design award — the fashion choices sparked just as much discussion as the trophies. Black clearly dominated the carpet. Yes, Swedish cinema has had a challenging year, but judging by the sea of dark outfits, one could almost mistake the gala for a funeral — perhaps a little premature?
Then came Bianca Kronlöf, emerging as the night’s unmistakable standout. A true knight in shining armor, she wore a striking chainmail look created by costume designer — and sibling — Leffe Kronlöf. According to him, the idea was born after discovering some ring weave at home, letting imagination take full control. The result? One of the most inventive and memorable outfits of the evening.

Bianca didn’t stop there. She later appeared in a bold green ensemble, complete with matching makeup and platform shoes — a look that felt deliberate, confident, and full of playful winks to the audience.

And of course, Robert Fux did what he does best: turned fashion into performance art. Towering heels alone would have sufficed, but he went further — bold patterns, dramatic makeup, a striking silhouette, and finally, a crown. Subtlety was clearly not the goal. As the look declared loud and clear: more is more.
